Born in rural Lincolnshire, England, Kate developed an interest for art at a young age, refining her skill throughout school and later Sixth Form College. Kate established a preference for portraiture, focusing on family and friends, later including pets. Early on, Kate was inspired by the pre-Raphaelite brotherhood, expanding to enjoy more contemporary portrait artists such as Christian Nicholson. A new immigrant to California in 2019, Kate began to explore her skill once more, focusing on pencil drawings of friends and family, moving into colour using both acrylic and oil paint. Kate currently lives and works in Benicia, California, with her husband Andre and dog Annabelle.
